Hello to all my fellow genfic fans! I've been watching this community for ages, but apparently I was not a member until I tried to post - oops! Anyway - I'm hoping to compile a HP fanzine featuring an anthology of "gen" fanwork from writers, artisits and other creative people from all across fandom. Since this is just a proposal, the exact format of the zine (i.e. paper or electronic) has not been decided yet, but either way I hope the idea might interest some of you in this community. I'll just link to this post on my journal, rather than clogging up this community. Thanks all for your time!

Title: Between Here and Now and Forever Rating: PG Characters: All four Hogwarts founders, numerous major and minor original characters, and Helena Ravenclaw. Genre: Humor/Drama/Adventure Summary: All Godric wanted was a quiet life of scholarship, ideally one that didn't involve starving to death. So when two old friends (well, acquaintances, really) showed up and offered him a teaching job, he took it with few reservations, not realizing how extensively he was involving himself in international magical politics. Length: Long. (FF.N says 49,550 words.) WIP. Pairings are present, but firmly in the background; there is established Helga Hufflepuff/OMC, and past Rowena Ravenclaw/OMC(s). May eventually contain romance subplots. The first chapter is here. I have just posted chapter 11, and, showing a startling amount of organization, have scraped together a master Founders post, which contains links to everything Foundersy I have ever done. (That I don't hate. Completely.) Crossposted to hp_misfitfics, potterpast, and the_foundry.
